Physotegia virginiana features pink snapdragon-like flowers with narrow, lance-shaped foliage. If the flowers are pushed in any direction, they will temporarily remain in the new position, giving the plant its common name, obedient plant.

Grows best in moist to wet soils in full sun to part shade.
