A dwarf selection of the species, ‘Little Lanterns’ only grows to about 10’’ tall.  It will tolerate a wide range of soils except heavy, poorly drained ones.

Perfect for a small container, it is also a good choice for shade, woodland, and rock gardens and naturalized area. May be grown from seed and will self-seed in the garden in the right growing conditions. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees.
