An elegant textured sedge, Carex Appalachia forms a neat clump of fine foliage with a fountaining habit. Good for erosion control and soil stabilization. Can be used as a groundcover, and seeds benefit birds. Likes it dry and can grow in full sun or some shade. Limited supply.
