Found along creeks and the edge of ponds, Aster puniceus is a great naturalizer plant for moist areas. This aster has light blue, widely spread, slender petals.

The flowers are attractive to a variety of pollinators, including butterflies, moths, and bees. Prefers wet to moist soils in full sun to partial shade.
