Liatris spicata has long, purple or rose flower spikes with grass-like green foliage. The blooms make for a popular cut flower.  Erect, tall, and clump forming. Attracts butterflies and birds!

This plant will tolerate a variety of conditions, such as summer heat, humidity and drought. Its preference is moist to wet soils in full sun.
