This plant produces multiple heads of blue star-like flowers. The feathery foliage is green in the summer then turns to a great, glowing yellow in the fall. Amsonia hubrectii is good for use in borders, rock gardens, and open woodland areas. It prefers average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. It does best when massed.
