Gelsemium sempervirens has semi-ever green shiny foliage with a profuse display of yellow, fragrant, trumpets. This plant was a PA gold medal winner selected for winter hardiness.

Gelsemium will grow as a twisting vine or a bushy ground cover if left unsupported. It does best in moist soils in full sun to partial shade, but the blooms are best full sun. The bright flowers attract a variety of pollinators.
